Bacteriostatic Water for Injection (BWFI) is a sterile, non-pyrogenic preparation of water for injection containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a bacteriostatic preservative. This pharmaceutical-grade water is specifically designed for reconstituting and diluting injectable compounds for research purposes.
Use aseptic technique when withdrawing water from vial. Each vial is designed for multiple uses within 28 days of first puncture. Always use a sterile needle and syringe for each withdrawal.
